Generations

Analogue Photos Series I 2023“Generations” is a black and white analogue photo series that explores the beauty of human curiosity, creativity, and connection across all stages of life. Through 15 portraits, from the hands of a baby discovering a Christmas ornament to the eyes of an elderly couple exchanging a quiet smile, the series captures moments of passion, focus, and tenderness. Each image reflects how, regardless of age, we are shaped by the things we love, the stories we create, and the connections we build. In the first eleven photographs, each person is portrayed with something that holds personal meaning: a toy, a pet, a book, a hobby, a memory. These objects become symbols of engagement - showing that learning, playing, creating, and dreaming are not bound to any age. The final four photographs shift the focus to togetherness. Two people per frame, across generations, sharing a moment of love:  a teenage girl and her grandmother flipping through an old photo album, a mother reading to her daughter, a mother gazing at her newborn. These scenes remind us that beyond the passions we carry within, it’s often the people around us who give them depth and continuity.Shot on analogue film, the series invites us to see what connects us all, no matter our age: the desire to feel, to create, and to belong.
